Exporting Transactions from Charles Schwab

Charles Schwab offers transaction history export from the client panel on schwab.com.

Log in to schwab.com

Go to Accounts > History (Account History)

Set the date range to the entire tax year

Click "Export" in the top right corner of the table

Download the CSV file

Schwab also generates tax forms (1099-B, 1099-DIV). For settlement in Poland, you need the full transaction report with conversion to PLN.

Exporting Dividends from Charles Schwab

Dividends can be exported separately from the History section or by downloading the 1099-DIV report.

Go to Accounts > History

Filter by type: "Dividends & Capital Gains"

Common Issues and Solutions

Schwab acquired TD Ameritrade accounts

If your account was previously at TD Ameritrade, historical transactions may be in a different format. Check the "Transferred Accounts" section or contact support.

The report contains 1099 forms instead of raw transactions

1099 forms are American tax summaries. For the calculator, you need the raw transaction history from History > Export.
