Exporting transaction history from Coinbase Pro
Coinbase Pro / Exchange is not supported by our automatic parser yet, but you can still export the correct files for later analysis or manual review. The most useful report for trading history is usually "Fills".
Log in to Coinbase Pro / Exchange or the archived statements area if your account was migrated to Advanced Trade.
Open the "Statements" or "Reports" section.
Click "Generate" and choose the "Fills" report for executed trades. If you want an extra balance audit trail, export "Accounts" as well.
Set the date range to the full tax year and include every portfolio / account you used.
Choose CSV as the file format.
Generate the report and download the file to disk. Keep the file in its original, unedited form.
For trading history, prioritize the "Fills" export. If you traded across multiple years, save one report per year and keep the "Accounts" reports for transfer and balance checks.
Coinbase Pro does not have an automatic parser in our app yet. This guide is guide-only for now — the files may still be useful for future support or manual reconciliation.
Common Issues and Solutions
I generated a balance report instead of trade history
For trading activity you need the "Fills" report. "Accounts" is only a supporting report and does not replace executed-trade history.
I cannot access the old Coinbase Pro interface after migration
Check archived statements / reports or the Coinbase Exchange panel. Older reports are often still available there.
The date range is incomplete
Export the full tax year. If you traded in earlier years, keep older reports too because they may be needed for acquisition cost tracking.
