Exporting Transactions from IG
IG Markets offers transaction history export from the My IG panel in the browser.
Log in to the IG platform (ig.com)
Go to My IG > History
Select the "Transaction History" tab
Set the date range to the entire tax year
Click "Download as CSV" or the export icon
IG is a CFD and spread betting broker. In Poland, CFDs are derivative instruments settled in PIT-38. Spread betting may have different rules - consult a tax advisor.
Common Issues and Solutions
The report contains spread betting positions
Spread betting is mainly available for UK clients. If you trade from Poland, you likely have a CFD account. Check your account type in the settings.
Export limited to 6 months
IG may limit the export to 6 months at a time. Create two reports (January-June and July-December) and import both.
