Exporting Client Activity Report from Lime International

Lime International (a division of Just2Trade Online Ltd) is a broker with access to over 100 global markets, including NYSE and NASDAQ. The Client Activity Report is downloaded from the My Account portal (myaccount-int.lime.co) in XLSX format. The file contains sections: buy/sell transactions (Share & Fundshare & ADR dealings), dividends with withholding tax (Payment of income), settled trades and cash operations.

1

Log in to the My Account portal at myaccount-int.lime.co (for international clients) or myaccount.lime.co (for US clients)

2

Click the "Reports" button in the portal menu

3

Select Client Activity Report

4

Set the date range covering all investment years — from your first transaction to today

5

Download the report in XLSX format

6

Import the downloaded XLSX file into the application — the format will be recognized automatically

A full date range is essential for correct FIFO tax calculation. The calculator needs all transactions to correctly match sales to purchases. The XLSX report contains several sections — the calculator automatically extracts transactions and dividends, ignoring informational sections (Cash transactions, Settled trades). Do not use the Lime Dashboard export (limited to 60 days) — a Client Activity Report for the entire period is needed for complete tax calculation.

Only XLSX files from the Client Activity Report are supported. The Lime Dashboard export (60-day limit) does not contain full history and may be insufficient for tax calculation. If you have issues, contact us via the in-app form or Lime support: support@lime.co.

Dividends and Withholding Tax (WHT)

Dividends are part of the same XLSX report, in the 'Payment of income - Dividends' section. Each entry contains the gross amount (gross dividend value), WHT rate (Tax Rate), and withheld tax amount (Tax Amount). The standard WHT rate for US stocks is 30%.

Dividends are imported automatically along with transactions from the same XLSX file — no separate report download is needed

Tax implications

All Lime instruments are foreign securities (US) — the PIT/ZG attachment to the PIT-38 return is required.

US dividends are subject to 30% WHT (15% with W-8BEN). Per Art. 11(2) PL-US treaty, only 15% is creditable in PIT-38 Section G (fields G.47-G.49); the 4pp gap against Polish 19% is paid here. Excess above 15% (when broker withheld 30%) must be reclaimed from the IRS via Form 1040-NR.

The NBP exchange rate from the business day preceding the settlement date is used for conversion, per Art. 11a sec. 1.

Broker commission fees and SEC/TAF regulatory fees (Other fees) are summed and included in deductible costs (C.23).

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to file Polish taxes for Lime International transactions?

Yes. Lime International is a foreign broker with access to US markets. All income is foreign-sourced and must be reported on PIT-38. You are responsible for calculating and filing your taxes — Lime does not issue Polish PIT-8C.

Do I need PIT-ZG for Lime transactions?

Yes, since all Lime instruments are traded on foreign exchanges (primarily US), you must attach PIT-ZG to your PIT-38 return with a country-by-country income breakdown.

Which section of the Lime report contains my trades?

Your buy/sell transactions are in the "Share & Fundshare & ADR dealings" section. The "Settled trades" section contains the same data in double-entry bookkeeping format and is automatically ignored by the calculator to prevent double counting.

Why is my US dividend withholding tax 30% instead of 15%?

The standard US withholding tax rate is 30%. With a valid W-8BEN form at Lime the rate drops to 15%. Per the PL-US treaty, only 15% is creditable in Section G of PIT-38 — you pay the 4pp difference in Poland. If broker withheld 30% without W-8BEN, the extra 15pp is reclaimable from the IRS (Form 1040-NR).

Are SEC and TAF regulatory fees tax-deductible?

Yes, SEC fees and TAF (Trading Activity Fee) charges from Lime are included as deductible costs in PIT-38 line C.23, alongside regular broker commissions. The calculator automatically sums all fees.

Common Issues and Solutions

Report does not contain dividends

Check that your date range covers dividend payment dates. Dividends are in the 'Payment of income - Dividends' section of the Client Activity Report.

Concerns about duplicate transactions

The report contains a 'Settled trades' section with the same transactions in double-entry bookkeeping format. The calculator automatically ignores this section — it does not cause double counting.

Lime Dashboard export instead of Client Activity Report

The Dashboard allows XLSX export but is limited to 60 days of history. For proper tax calculation, download the Client Activity Report from the My Account portal, which contains full history.
